PRTG Network Monitor 7.1 - Official Release
This is an exciting day for everybody here at Paessler AG: After seven months of hard work we have finally uploaded the V7.1 release binaries of PRTG Network Monitor.
This new version contains more than 800 new features, enhancements, changes, and bugfixes since version 7.0.9. Upgrading to the new version is recommended for all users of previous PRTG versions.
Almost every aspect of the software has been improved. The most important changes are:
- Improved web-based user interface: it is much faster and more comfortable now
- Toplists display the Top Talkers (IPs that use the most bandwidth), Top Connections (connections that use the most bandwidth) and Top Protocols (most used protocols in the network)
- Improved reporting (now with percentile calculation)
- New sensor types: HTTP Full Page sensor, email round trip monitoring, SMART monitoring for harddisks
- Automatic probe updating
- Official support for PRTG running on virtualized platforms
- Improved stability and reliability
